Hosting the last mobility was a pleasure!

The last mobility of the Erasmus project "Debate as a New Approach to Learning" was held in our school ITE TOSI in Busto Arsizio together with students, teachers and trainers from all the partner schools. After 2 years of joint work, we could evenually benefit from the results of our collaboration: two guides for teachers and coaches and a toolkit for students which will help everyone interested from any nation to develop their debate and critical thinking competencies. πŸ—£

But the most amazing result, in our opinion, is the TOOLKIT as it is so practical, easy to use and immediate: it's a medium of self-accessing tool to improve the students' abilities even on their own .

During the meeting, we also assisted to some workshops where the international group of students was called to try some of the activities from the TOOLKIT πŸ’£ . In a second session, the same students operated as tutors in the computer lab with other pupils from outside during the multiplier event on the 28th September and the result was amazing.🀩

The mobility, in fact, hosted the second and last multiplier event, where schools across Europe, in person and on line via the Internet, could surely benefit from the results of our project. πŸ’₯

The five days spent here in our school were memorable. During this time, our students directly took part in interesting debate activities and we teachers and coaches could learn on the field new interesting techniques to be 'reused' in our courses and in class with the other students in every day lessons.πŸ‘ŒπŸ’₯

The memories of our students working together with their new European friends reminded us that we were also building Europe. Europe is our home and our school was their European home for 5 days!🏠

We do wish to have the chance to continue to collaborate with each and every partner because we now feel like a big and unique European family! Let's hope to have the chance to work once more together!πŸ’Ÿ

Erasmus, an European exchange program, offers young individuals the opportunity to have unique experiences in foreign countriesπŸ—Ί. Among the various options, we chose to participate in a debate project during our Erasmus experience. This decision proved to be one of the most rewarding in our school lives. 🌍

The project involved students from different European schools, each with different cultural and educational perspectives. This diversity has been an incredible wealth, as each of us has brought a unique vision to the topics being debated. πŸ‘₯

During this week, we welcomed students from Slovenia, Finland, Lithuania, and Spain for the Erasmus project: "Debate as a New Approach to Learning."

During the week, there have been various debate activities for us. In particular, we had the opportunity to participate and collaborate on the organization of the event on September 28th, in the grand hall of our institute, where 150 participants engaged with European-level debate experts on the significance of this methodology in education.πŸ“š

In addition to the debate activities, we had the opportunity to show and guide the foreign students through the city of Milan and its main monuments such as: Scala theatre, The Duomo cathedral and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele.

Furthermore, the week ended with a big international dinner featuring typical products from the various countries. πŸ•πŸ½πŸ§†πŸ·πŸ°

In conclusion, this Erasmus debate experience was a lesson in tolerance, open-mindedness, and cooperation. ❀️ It demonstrated that, despite cultural and linguistic differences, it is possible to work together to achieve a common goal. πŸ‘«It enriched us both personally and academically and provided us with valuable skills that we will carry with us in our future.πŸ’Ό
